colder spots. the >>pam: kron 4 reggie is live in san francisco where street flooding is still an issue. >>reggie: it happens a lot on the great highway. take a look of the southbound lanes right across the street. that you could see how flooded they are. this caused closures between lincoln st.. they say it's because of last night's a rainstorm, look at the video you could see how flooded the lanes are. it's too on safer drivers. officials tell me they will not reopen the southbound lanes until the next storm passes through. officials tell me the water used to dry salt on its own. if it will come out here and get rid of it. she's lived here for about two years, she said the great highway is closed a lot in the winter. >> the road is closed every three or four months due to what's right behind you. a

is included among the many pictures sent in by our viewers. in lake county, tahoe city is included. but all the ice that formed. he could see how badly the roads have been backed up because of all of this snow that's covered them. morgan hill and martinez. public works crew is in the oakland hills getting ready to deal with icy road conditions over the weekend. >>haazig: in preparation for the possibility of snow and black ice, when roads in the oakland hills, the public works department is loading up sand into these huge dump trucks. the san will be on standby should the roads become dangerous due to ice as temperatures drop here in the east bay. public works supervisor david said the sand will improve traction for autos driving down the steep hills and twisty roads here in the oakland hills. >> it breaks up some of the

believe that 18 year-old is responsible for an armed carjacking on park boulevard. it happened last november. the police chased the man in the stolen car but were unable to catch him after you exited the vehicle and fled on foot. in san jose, jose, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence. he was arrested for striking several san jose police officers in their patrol cars. the officers were at the scene of the shooting on the santa clara street. three officers were injured in that incident. federal authorities canal screen the immigration status of arrestees in every county in california. it lacks six counties were adopted to secure committee's program this week. through january the agency are some 65,000 people who were identified through the program. immigration officials say more than 70 percent of them

at a winter weather advisory for the east bay hills and diablo range until saturday morning. and looks like we get anywhere to 4 in. below 3,000 ft.. snow levels could get to a thousand feet but it looks like it will stick below that. we could get about 4 in. above the 3000 level. if we have a freeze level the fed for tomorrow morning, in the north bay valleys. the temperature will drop in the mid-20s and low 30's in stay below freezing for several hours at a time. the rate now were seeing the temperatures drop off in the '40's, 47 san francisco, 46 degrees in oakland and napa. here is a look at your 7 day around the bay, temperatures dropping off even more on your sunday, getting down to about 24 degrees. we will dry out sunday and monday, bring back the rate on tuesday. we also have a look at your snowbomb.com ski report. conditions at that sugar bowl right now 184

ft. of 5 b-17 in the santa cruz mountains. we have dropped about 8 degrees and the three hours that i have been here. while day weather wise across the river south bay. this snow is about the only thing that we have not seen here so far. it was a gully washer for a while there this morning. this wathere was a small stream advisory close to the till about 10:00 this morning because there's too much rain, too fast. the critical overwhelmed silver crossing at the entrance of saw christmas tree bark. at one point the water there was 2 ft. deep and the current was strong enough to pull threats. the far from came in and shut that down. upstream it was spilling over and just like

man is in police custody after injuring two san jose police officers and one sergeant. they were responding to a report of the shooting. that's when a car crashed into a parked patrol car off during a domino effect in damaging to their patrol cars. if one of the patrol car struck a sergeant and officer. a third officer sitting in a vehicle was injured. all three were treated and released. the driver was spoke for felony d y as well as driving under a suspended license. if you all the shooting is still under investigation and arrest made in the attempted sexual assault case. yesterday we showed you a sketch of the suspect, today's santa cruz police announced the arrest of keys rodriguez. he is a registered sex offender required to register at the santa cruz police department every 30 days because he is a transient. he is a cruise of brandishing a knife and sexually assaulting a 20 year-old woman on tuesday. if too malnourished bodies are headed into foster care

part, we are dry. it looks like redwood city just to the west of that watching a saw working its way toward palo alto. south of gilroy, were getting plenty of wet weather even snow fall there through the diablo range. and looks like snow levels down to 1,500 ft.. we will continue to see all that cold air rushing and. the potential for snow fall certainly there and continues over night. right now livermore valley continuing with a few sprinkles as well. future cast for set for 10:00 shows the pattern here over night. we will continue to see the spotty showers throughout the night kind of hit or miss. we couldn't times a moderate downpours. it certainly will not be widespread. it will be called enough that the potential for low snow will be there over night into early tomorrow morning. we will continue with that threat for snoblow snow
